Who we are

isms is a small family business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, selling at wearisms.com. You can reach a person at 7echome@gmail.com. Ordering from us means you accept what is on this page.

You need to be 18, or whatever counts as grown up where you live, to place an order.

Prices and orders

Prices are in US dollars and do not include sales tax, which is worked out at checkout from where you are shipping to. Shipping is added the same way.

Your order is an offer to buy, and it is accepted when we send it to print. If something is priced plainly wrong by mistake — a hoodie at seven dollars — we will tell you before it prints and refund you in full rather than quietly send it or quietly charge you more.

Paying

Payment runs through Stripe. Your card details go straight to them and never touch our hands or our server. We can see what you bought, what you paid, and the last four digits of the card. That is all we can see, and all we want to see.

The word you type

This is the part worth reading twice, because the whole shop is built on letting you put your own words on things.

The word stays yours. We print it, we ship it, and we do not claim any ownership of it or add it to the word list on the site.

When you type one, you are telling us you have the right to use it. Do not send us somebody else's trademark, a team or a brand name, a line from a song, or anything hateful, obscene or aimed at hurting a particular person.

We can refuse to print anything, and if we do we refund you in full and say why. We do not read every word before it prints, so a word going through is not us approving it, and a word being refused is not a judgment on you.

Our side of it

The isms name, the mark, the lettering styles and the list of words on this site are ours. Buying a hoodie buys you the hoodie, not the right to reprint the design or sell it on.

Colours and screens

Every screen shows colour differently, and a dyed garment is never the exact shade of a pixel. The photographs are mockups on real garment colours, and they are close, but a sand hoodie in your kitchen will not be the identical sand of your phone. That difference on its own is not a fault.

Shipping and returns

The shipping page and the returns page are part of these terms. They say what we will do and by when, and they are written to be read rather than survived.

What we owe you if something goes wrong

If we get your order wrong we reprint it or refund it, as the returns page says. Beyond that, and to the extent the law lets us say so, what we owe you for any one order is capped at what you paid for it. We are not liable for things we could not reasonably have seen coming — a courier strike, a missed birthday, a snowstorm.

Nothing here limits anything that cannot legally be limited, and nothing here takes away a right your state gives you.

Which law applies

Pennsylvania law, and the courts of Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live says otherwise and gives you a better right.

Changes

We can change these terms. The version that counts for your order is the one on the site when you placed it. This page says the date it last changed at the bottom.
