Kids say things nobody else says, and then they stop. The ones that last are the ones somebody wrote down. This is a hardcover journal with 150 lined pages inside and one word on the cover: the first one, the one that started it, in retro seventies lettering, on any of nine colors.
Type the word on the journal's page, pick the color, and it prints to order. Keep it on the kitchen counter and write the word down the day you hear it, with the date. Or give it to a new parent empty, with their baby's name on it, and let them fill it.

What is inside the journal?
150 lined pages, plain, no prompts. It is a notebook, so it works for a kid's words, a baby book, or anything else. The cover is matte hardcover, about 5.5 by 8 inches.
Can I put any word on the cover?
Yes. Type the word on the journal's page, in any of the twelve letterings and nine colors, and see the cover before you order. A name works too.
Is it a good gift for a new parent?
It is the one we would give. New parents hear the first made-up words around age two, and a book that is already on the shelf is the one that gets used.
